Story Behind "Nawasena Tour"
To begin this story, we should know who behind Nawasena Tour. She is Ika Nur Setiyawati, graduated from Nagoya University (geography studies) and Sebelas Maret University (social studies). Through her educational background, she has ability to speak either English or Japanese, and also several local languages such as Sundanese and Javanese. From this reason thereof, now she and her team established Nawasena Tour. Yet, it is not the one and only reason.
Come from an ordinary family with no have special privilege in every part in her life, it forced her to survive to pay her school fee by herself. One of her strategy is being a tour guide or hiking guide since bachelor student.
Her first working experience was being a travel buddy for an AIESEC participant from Egypt. Then, when studied master degree, she also did the same pattern. Being a tour guide in Japan is the best solution to pay all the bill.
From this part, she reliazed that being tour guide or leader or planner could not merely helpful for the customers but also could be overcome our own problem on the other side. This goal actually base vision in Nawasena Tour.
